FYI, a little known fact, the word "convention" translated into the Otaku language means "heaven". Ask anyone fluent in Otaku speak, and they will tell you the same.

Reconnect with Cosplayers you've meet over the years. Or just show off pics of yourself dressed as your favorite characters. Just keep it decent, remember, there are impressionable eyes here. h oh, here comes another mob of hysterical, screaming fangirls ready to trample me to a pulp just to get a glimpse of that "dreamy" J-Pop star. I can't really poke fun though. I was willing to risk getting trapped in a burning convention center during a Mari Ijima concert when someone pulled the fire alarm at Otakon 99 (actually, no one moved, until Mari Ijima said we should probably leave, and she'd resume the concert after). I'd probably run into a burning building to save the wallscroll she signed for me. She was MINMEI !!!! I think i'd be justified. That's what makes us Otaku, embrace it.

So many great Sci-Fi series and movies have been created, some funny, some dramatic, some action packed, the genre's possibilities are endless. Some series and movies have directly contributed to the development of today's technology. We can be sure that it'll continue to shape our technology and our future. Infamous for its demons or aliens with large appendages (FYI not all Hentai titles have otherworldly beings) Hentai titles can range from soft core to very graphic depictions of sex. Remember to keep your naughty tentacles in check while in this forum.

Moe in broad general terms refers to something that is precious or adorable. Moe characters often, but not always, refers to an innocent, cute girl (meant to invoke a protective big brother response). Bishoujo (Bishojo) Anime basically can be applied to almost any anime that has attractive female characters. Titles like Burn Up, Tenjo Tenge, Ikki Tousen fit the bill as Bishojo anime. Harem animes are also good examples of being Bishojo, like Love Hina, Maburaho, Tenchi Muyo. Watch out for Washu though, she may be small, but she'll mess you up. Washuuuuu!!!!

Romance is the spice of life. You can discuss in this forum which Anime spice is your favorite. Please, no "Spice and Wolf" jokes. Well, ok, if you must.

Homoerotic/Homoromantic in nature, Yaoi Anime centers around "Boys' Love" and is usually more graphic in nature than Bishonen. Famous for its "Pretty Boys" (young men/teen boys that appear almost feminine in nature) Bishonen, also deals with male male relationships but in a more romanticized way. Please, ladies, keep the screaming and fainting to a minimum while in this forum (Grumble...Grumble...I don't know what the big deal is, they're not that pretty <---Sour Grapes)

Who doesn't like reading a good action packed manga? The brutal battles, the long ardous journeys, the war between good and evil. But the best thing about Action/Adventure Manga? You can put them in your pocket and always get a little action in your pants.

Funny Manga... happiness and laughter in portable form. When life is getting you down, or if you just need a quick "PICK ME UP", Manga says, "PICK ME UP!!! I'm just what you need, I'll make you feel better". Just don't let anyone catch you replying to your Manga, or men in white coats might send you to another "funny" place.
